Counseling Hours, Rates, & Insurance
Regular Hours
My hours are subject to change, however I am taking new
clients both through Thriveworks and as private clients. I am in the office
for private clients Monday and Thursday 9 AM-11 AM, and Fridays from
10 AM to -4 PM.
I am seeing Thiveworks clients online (telehealth only) from 11 AM-7 PM
on Mondays and Thursdays, and in person in Lakewood from 8 AM-5 PM
on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please reach out to my phone number or
email below for clarification on whether you would prefer to be a
Thriveworks or private client.
Please be aware that I typically have more availability between 10 AM-3 PM.
Late afternoon and evening appointments are highly sought after
and subject to a longer wait for first appointment.
Rates
$115 is my counseling fee for private (non-Thriveworks) counseling sessions. All sessions are typically 50-60 minutes. Thriveworks clients may use health insurance and are subject to Thriveworks applicable intake policies. Please see Thriveworks.com for more details.
Please contact me directly for more information. Additional fees are charged for lengthy telephone communications (beyond 10 min.), court attendance, and report/letter writing. There is a $30.00 service fee for checks returned for non-sufficient funds, and the client will be required to pay for future sessions in cash. Before any future visits occur, the client or responsible party must pay in cash the service charge PLUS the value of the check.
Insurance
Services for private clients must be paid in full by the counselee at the time of service. However, these services may be covered in full or in part by your HSA (Health Savings Account), health insurance, or employee benefit plan. Counselees in my private practice may request reimbursement after the session from their third party payee. Documentation for reibursement is available upon request. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
-
Do I have mental health benefits?
-
What is my deductible and has it been met?
-
How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
-
How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
-
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
-
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Payment
Cash, check, Zelle, and credit cards are accepted accepted for payment at the beginning of the session. Venmo is an app that several clients choose as a secure form of payment after confirming privacy settings. Venmo can be linked to credit cards and private checking accounts. Checks are to be made payable to “Ryan Edlind, LLC.”
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
